The vital nature of portable radio communication has been proven since its pivotal usage in World War II; a dedicated tool for a simple but essential asset. The Radio Pouch attaches in multiple ways: it can be mounted horizontally in the six o’clock position using the plate pocket, or using MOLLE webbing. It can also be attached using a hook-and-loop wing panel, which allows the pouch to be positioned to the left or right, under the cummerbund. This frees up MOLLE webbing on your cummerbund for additional gear.

The Radio Pouch is fully and quickly adjustable, featuring elastic sides, a velcro bottom closure to adjust radio depth and allow quick MBITR battery change (without affecting any PTT lead / antenna wiring on the carrier), and a tie-adjustable shock-cord retention band to fit a wide range of radios on the market.

500D Cordura makes up the majority of the pouch, a material we favor for its strength and balance of firmness and flexibility. Velcro keeps it secured the way you configure it.

The Radio Pouch has been tested to fit radios as small as a Baofang® and as large as a USGI AN/PRC-148 MBITR.
